Every Masterpiece Begins with a Teardown

Through a groundbreaking partnership with Harley-Davidson Motor Company®, Motorwitch Industries, Durango Harley-Davidson, and the Four Corners Motorcycle Rally, youth from the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Juan County (NM) and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sun Corridor (AZ) took their first steps into the world of custom motorcycles.

Before turning a single wrench, Club members were introduced to essential shop safety practices—learning how to prepare their workspace, handle tools responsibly, and collaborate as a team.

Guided by acclaimed builder Danny Wilson of Motorwitch Industries and master technician Carter Crafton of Durango Harley-Davidson, participants then rolled up their sleeves to tear down a stock 2022 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail—gaining firsthand experience in disassembly, mechanical fundamentals, and the inner workings of a Harley-Davidson.

This immersive kickoff experience laid the foundation for a transformative journey—rooted in safety, mentorship, and the power of hands-on learning.
